I guess I had a p-wave

This was around my 6th session and had started to get some buyers regret. I looked up what hitting the prostate would feel like, cause I was wondering if it was even hitting it all, and started to focus on those feelings (generally the feeling that you have to pee).

I thought it was lower than the aneros was hitting because that's where a more intense feeling was coming from. I now think that's most likely something called the cowper's/Bulbourethral gland. After watching some porn bent over (didn't want to sit) I layed down and just relaxed. I tried keeping the aneros in the right spot.

After a while the feeling of butterflies in the stomache appeared and a shudder spread from there throughout my body. My penis got hard rapidly and it felt like some sort of ball was inflating around my prostate/bladder. it started tingling and my penis seemed to melt away. At some point it started shrinking I assumed it would return or something but I now had this feeling of a full bladder which just overwhelmed every other sensation which made me stop.

So I assume this was a p-wave, but anything else got stopped because of me needing to actually pee.

Any tips on how to prevent this form happening again? (I already went to the toilet before inserting the aneros)

Donate a Sex toy to Africa

I've marvelled at stories (and videos) of how sex toys make sex much more enjoyable; but unfortunately live in a place where they are taboo. And hard to come come by, Nairobi Kenya

Thought I'd reach out to any do-gooder out there who'd want to get me (us – I'll share duplicated toys, or those that won't tickle my fancy) sex toys.

Preferably (but not restricted to) new.

PS: I put up a simlar post in r/SexToys. I don't know how to link it here, so Im just going to re-post

Additional external prostate stimulation while using an Aneros?

I've been occasionally using an Aneros for approaching ten years and enjoyed it despite getting little more than a few P-waves. It's very likely that it's the mental side of things that's holding me back; I'm anxious and controlling at the best of times and on an anti-anxiety SSRI. It's likely that I would probably have much more joy if I could relax while using it, but I haven't found a way to do so yet. (Solutions involving trees, even if they were legal in my jurisdiction, hold no interest for me – and perhaps it's hypocritical for me to be OK with taking Citalopram when I'm not prepared to consider anything more herbal, but that's an argument for another time and another subreddit.)

In a session today, when reasonably aroused and making the usual deliberate contractions to move the Aneros, I found I was able to trigger some light involuntary contractions by applying a vibrator to my stomach at the base of the penis (i.e. very close to the shaft of the penis, but not actually touching it), presumably giving the prostate additional stimulation through the bladder. Sometimes I've used traditional penile masturbation techniques to reach the point of no return, then stopped and applied indirect pressure to my prostate that way to get me over the edge; it's probably as close to the hands-free orgasm that I so crave as I'm going to get.

Aneros and hypnosis?

Has anyone tried some type of erotic hypnosis with the aneros? I haven't had luck with my progasm, but I've felt like it has heightened my arousal. Same with erotic hypnosis – I've been using Isabella Valentines jackpot series. Has anyone combined the two and had any success?

Helix feels too small

The only sensation I get from my helix is on my stomach and clenching with all my might for a slight tickle. It's incredibly easy to insert and jus feels so small. Should I look at getting a Maximus or Prograsm or am I doing it all wrong.

Im new, and I feel like I might be doing it wrong?

Im temporarily using soap (Or nothing) as lube, and I feel a slight discomfort with inserting and that is all. Once in I feel nothing bad, but Im also not feeling anything that would be on my prostate? I can manually stimulate my prostate by using my hand to move the Helix, but I cant with my anus muscles. Which brings me to the main question.

How should I be using the Helix? Should I clench my anus or use the muscles that would stop me from peeing mid stream (they also affect my anus muscles but in a different way). Is the lack of lube why Im not feeling anything?

Also, I know lube is important, I havent gotten any yet unfortunately.

Thinking about getting one…

I'm relatively new to prostate massage and think I've found my prostate. I am 5'3 so I'm on the shorter side and my prostate can be reached with my thumb. Since I don't have much experience with this stuff I was torn between the SGX and the Helix. Will the helix be too big?

If anyone had both and could post a comparison pic that would be great. Thanks!

Status Check: How to Take it Further

Hello there, Helix Syn user here. A couple weeks ago, I posted this. I figured I'd post an update and see if someone out here had any advice on how to get past what I consider to be the "middle point" of the Aneros journey.

I've gotten to the point where I'll feel the urge to have a session at night, and insertion is easy (I've recently switched to coconut oil in place of a water-based lubricant, which my butt apparently likes to absorb at ludicrous speeds, making the toy's movement unpleasant after 30 minutes). I need less time to relax, and can typically feel the tiny sensations as I breathe out, which build up anticipation. Medium contractions, previously with a thrusting motion with my hips, now without thrusting, bring me the "dull" inside sensation I now associate with my prostate being stimulated. And these contractions start building up a gradually increasing wave, that sometimes diminish in intensity, but that I can bring back.

This wave centers itself near my prostate, and quickly progresses to my abdomen and legs, then chest, then my head and arms a bit, until all I can feel is that wave and the quaking of my muscles. My mouth uncontrollably opens to accommodate for my shallower breathing, and then the wave recedes. The pleasure peaks for about 5 seconds before coming down, but I can't help but feel like there should be "more". A penile orgasm, for instance, feels more like a "discharge" of the pleasure you've accumulated; in this case, it feels like it plateaus right before, even though the pleasure is incredible. I guess I'd classify it as dry orgasm? I'm not entirely sure, it's all new to me.

Day One with my Helix syn!!

While I did wind up just going for a super-T instead of the O, I still think it was a very productive session and I learned a lot. First off, getting it in was easy had no problem there. But while I was very much prepared physically…mentally I wasn't all there. I feel like I rushed into things. I wasn't as turned on as I thought I was and I was having trouble focusing. I would focus on my breathing and timing it with my contractions and then try to focus on the massaging and how it felt. I would go back and forth and lose concentration. The times when did get things timed perfect I would get too excited, speed up and lose it!! And also I had trouble finding a position I liked.
Like I said overall I learned a lot from this attempt and am ready to go back at it another day. One more thing, I was using Astroglide and it seemed to work well but I'm not sure if I just need more, maybe had too much (i had maybe half to a whole tsp inside and then enough to cover the toy) or that i should try another lube. Any suggestions?
