Progasm feels like its overshooting prostate, help?

I purchased a progasm classic about a month ago, its my first aneros toy but I’ve had plenty of experience in the rear so the size wasnt too intimidating. I have previously enjoyed manipulating toys to directly hit the prostate so Im quite aware where it is positioned in my body. But I feel like Im either using the progasm wrong or its overshooting the mark and not hitting my prostate.

Ive done research on how to properly manipulate it using the PC muscles, and I can certainly feel it moving around in there. I suspect its hitting above where my prostate is because i can pull the progasm down and then its akin to using a regular dildo. But that defeats the purpose. Any advice? Is this a regular occurance? Constant PC muscles flex is showing some results…

Hi. Until my last session, my prostate play with the Aneros was always being performed in one of this two ways: a) keeping my PC and anal muscles totally relaxed, or b) clenching and releasing intermittently, with a rather fast pace.

Then, user u/shavedyng told me, on this same subreddit, a third approach to prostate play. Flexing my PC muscles just a bit, and holding them for several minutes. Then releasing (breathing) and again, flexing them at 10% and holding it.

A couple of days ago, I did it this way. At least, I tried. First I waited until I was really horny, and then I inserted the Aneros in my butt. To be honest, I wasn’t able to calibrate the contraction at 5 or 10% and I think I was flexing the muscles at 30-40%, but still I tried my best to not clench heavily like I used to do.

Then, I waited… After 20 or 30 minutes, I started to feel good, better than other times, and for just a few seconds I felt, for the first time in my life (after years of prostate play), how my anal muscles started to contract rhythmically by themselves. So last night I smoked a joint and got super high. To combat the paranoia I laid in bed and meditated. Then I thought of something arousing and felt some involuntaries. When things start feeling good I have a very natural urge to clench my PC muscles and hold that clench. This is what normally happens during penile stimulation, but it seems to lead nowhere with the aneros. Do you guys just fight this urge and try to stay relaxed?

So, last night I couldn’t fall asleep and did some nippledidding and suddenly I felt slight spasms of the PC-muscles. I kept going and I felt a similar tension building like with a aneros. I’m probably not yet at the stage which gives pleasure but it was interesting to note.
