Lessons learned

Since my last blog post, I've had 3 more Aneros sessions. The first two were somewhat disappointing, but ended up providing me with valuable lessons that will help me going forward. The 3rd session, well……

The 1st of these sessions was with the Vice. I did the usual warmups and played around with various contractions with the vibrator off. I'm at an odd point in my Aneros life with the vibrator-less sessions. I can feel my prostate harden and everything else that leads up to an orgasm, but I don't get the intense pleasurable feelings i do with the vibrator turned on. I am guessing that is because the Aneros is pressing against the prostate, but not really rubbing against it. It could also be that I'm trying to compare apples and oranges and that I need to keep the sensations I feel with the vibrator on separate than the feeling without it on.
After about an hour of this, I turned the vibrator on to Light-Steady. Did my usual routine of slowly increasing my contraction until I find a 'spot' and hold it there for a while. In this case, I found that 'spot' very quickly with a low strength contraction. If felt much different than the super orgasm (not ready to call it a Super-O yet) i experienced the previous session. I felt the sensations centered in the anus as opposed to the prostate. It still felt very pleasurable and I left it there for quite some time. However, I wanted to feel the same thing I felt in the last session, so I decided to end that and increase the vibration. That ended up being a big mistake. I didn't feel anything but very small orgasms the rest of the session, with both Medium and Strong vibration sessions. And when I tried to bring the vibration down to Light-Steady to find what I found earlier, I was unable to.

Time to kill

I had 2 hours to kill before I had to perform some late night work. Didn't want to take a nap and feel groggy while working, so decided on an Aneros session. The last few sessions were with the Helix, so I figured I would go with the Vice this time. After the usual breathing and warmup exercises, I kept the vibrator off and played around with various levels of contractions. Some nice feelings and some small orgasms, but nothing really special. After about 45 min, I turned on the vibrator to Low-Steady. Slowly increased the strength of my contraction until I felt something pleasurable and let it sit there. While it felt nice, I have found that the 'Low' vibration level almost never produces anything other than very light tingling. But it's a good way to ramp up to the stronger vibrations, so I think I'll keep it in my routine.

After around 15 minutes, I relaxed my anus and set the vibration to Medium-Steady. Stronger vibration=stronger pleasurable feeling and I felt several mild orgasms for the 20 or so minutes I kept it at Medium. I set the vibration to High-Wave )setting 8 of 9(. Played around with different strength contractions, but this didn't really do anything for me. Next tried High-Pulse )9 of 9(. This felt better and I felt some nice tingling coinciding with the pulses, but I didn't feel this would ultimately produce the results I was hoping for.

New guy here, any tips?

I've never done any anal or prostate play, other than an occasional finger when I was discovering my body years ago. I got the helix on the suggestion of a friend who said it worked wonders for him. I've got good tone in the muscles down there, I wa into yoga for years and kegels have an esoteric use and I learned how to use those muscles well.

I've read some explanations of how to use it, and that I'm supposed to relax and let the muscles do their thing. Any tips for a beginner?

I'm not on a quest for the super o right off the bat, I'm more just interested to feel new sensations. Should I try it with an erection? Should I stick to being flaccid when I use it? How much time realistically should I set aside for a session? I usually read erotic stories when I masturbate, which isn't very often. Would that help me relax and make things go smoother?

Edit: more questions. Is there a different methology to getting dry orgasms? Is it okay to have a regular one while working with the prostate massager, or does that kind of mess up the rewiring process? How exactly does the milking thing work?

My Two Orgasmic Worlds Join

When I first started this journey, I stumbled into MMO totally by accident. It was a fortuitous and unexpected discovery made by reading the forums here in Aneros. Back then there was no chat. MMO brought together the tantric sex that I had been studying and enjoying with J and it even incorporated some of the Zen Meditation that I had been )and still am( practicing.

It is logical that MMO for me grew out of these cornerstones as MMO is a very solitary inwardly focused activity. Fucking J is very outwardly focused; it is an activity where we lock together, my cock deep in her pussy seeking extremely pleasurable sensation in the warm caress of her erotic feminine flesh. The focus for me is using my cock to bring her pleasure. The visceral desperate pleasure that we seek and achieve in fucking is like scratching a deep erotic itch, culminating in the anxiously sought relief of shared orgasm.

On the other hand when J and I make love it is a simultaneous locking of our bodies and our minds. As we look into each other’s eyes we are experiencing each other’s ecstasy. Her eyes and her face reveal to me the tortuously exquisite rapture that is boring into her pussy and squeezing her soul. I can see in her pleasure contorted expression the reality of my cock touching her erotic core coaxing her to experience deep erotic euphoria.

Energy

Over the years the subject of energy has been a frequent topic in my study of mind – body connections, sexuality and sexual response. It surfaced many years ago when I was immersed in reading about Zen and Kundalini Yoga. It was also a frequent topic in Tantra. Here in Aneros we always talk about the energy generated by our human biology, spirituality, erotic fantasy and mental imagery. Indeed success in using an Aneros device for me is much more the mastery of or all 4 of the above factors and more than that it is the interweaving of them. It is from their interweaving that I experience the most intense and profound erotic and orgasmic pleasure.

Over the years I have sought metaphorical images to describe my Aneros experience relative to the interweaving of the above four energy sources. The best analogy that I can think of is surfing; only in my orgasmic surfing it is up to me to organize all the four factors and make them into a “wave” in my mind. As in surfing each wave I generate is different. Some are big and some are small. When the right wave comes along and I “catch” it, as Icatch it, it lifts me and propels me with it. It is my skill and ability that allows me to balance on that wave and as I sustain its energy in my thoughts.

New user here and wondering if you guys can help me

Been using my Aneros since Feb, and so far I've had no luck. Not ready to give up yet but at the very least I want to know if I'm making progress… weird as that sound.

I've read the wiki (seriously there's a wiki for anything huh) more times than I could remember, but… theory and practice is pretty different IMO haha.

I've a lot of questions and no idea where to begin so I'll just write those at the top of my head now.

  • Involuntary contraction: I suppose this is the thing that gets the whole motion going, but I haven't been able to do so consistently (if at all). I've tried contracting the external rectal muscle, the PC muscle (the muscle that you use to stop your pee haha), and still nothing. Do I have to contract it consistently, or do it occasionally, sorta like 'teasing' the internal muscle to contract involuntarily? The wiki said to go with small movement, but I can't even feel if I'm doing anything at all. How do I know when the involuntary contraction starts? I've read comments that the toy should be moving in and out on its own?

(NOTE: My knowledge of biology is abysmal at best and the terms I'm using is based on what I read so far so pardon my incorrect usage)

Six Mile High Club, Reprise

23 FEBRUARY 2015
Six miles up and "lovin' it"
My travel day started off fairly routinely. I had an e-ticket showing me that I was to fly out of Rochester at 11:30 to JFK and my overseas connection was at 7pm. No problem. When I got to the Rochester airport, Ifound out that my ticket had been changed and I was on a later flight. So I cooled my heels and had a chance to schmooze [=a friendly chat, in Yiddish] on the Aneros chat site.
By 11pm, I was exhausted, having gotten up at 5am and that after only 2 hours' sleep the night before—I had originally thought to ride that night, make an 'all-nighter' of it and possibly do it in chat, but that didn't work out.
I had resolved to try out the exercises that Chuckjo2000 gave us in the chat session at the beginning of February on the flight and see if I could progress in my "pursuit" of A-less pleasure.
Of course, by the time we were over Long Island, heading towards Boston on our trek 1/3 around the world, I was asleep. No meal, no entertainment. Waking up 5 hours later, the plane was nearing the western coast of France. It was broad daylight and I knew that we only had about 4.5 hours left to our flight—westerly winds helped us keep up a brisk pace of 600mph. Morning ablutions after climbing over my seat mate )we were fortunate not to have anyone between us, and then I settled back to rest—going against my own rules not to sleep when it was daylight at the destination )it helps with adjusting to the new time(. At this point, I tried to mentally do some of those exercises and 'virtually' massage the prostate. Not much happened for about a half hour. I even tried a mental version of the Piano Man maneuver and brought my hands over my lower parts as a tent. I did this as discretely as possible, under the blanket and with a pillow strategically placed to minimize any 'untoward' manifestations by my penis. At one point, I felt a very strange sensation: Yes, it was definitely my prostate, but it iwas a definite sensation of cool/cold right there and trying to radiate out from there. It was very interesting, having never experienced a cold sensation there, and not disagreeable because of its novelty, but not pleasure. At least an hour later, I awoke and saw that my seatmate was eating breakfast. Having missed the first meal on board, I was not about to miss the second and I requested the meal.
As I finished my coffee and the small pastry, I looked out of the window as we passed over the very tip of the "boot" of Italy, over the Mediterranen on our last leg. I had my noice cancelling earphones on )Phiaton Bluetooth(. In addition to listening to music during the flight, I will also just keep the music paused and use the noise cancellation as an isolation
It was then that I felt it. A pleasant tickle in the prostate. Uh huh. At first, I thought, OK, I've just eaten and I am having a regular gastrocolic reflex )That's a normal reflex that we have when our stomach has been filled and distended and you get the urge to defecate(. Rationalizing, I figured that whatever [I apologize for the indelicacy] poop was in the rectosigmoid )the part of the colon just above the rectum(, had moved down with the reflex and was somehow touching and therefore stimulation the prostate from behind. That's it. But, the sensation stayed and grew and it was not associated with the mild rectal contractions one gets with the gastrocolic reflex, feeling the urge to defecate. I closed my eyes and began to breath slowly and deeper than usual, but not overly deep—I guess in part not to awaken the attention of the guy nearby. I looked out the window at the clouds below and felt the sensations down there strengthen and spread. Each breath encouraged it and I closed my eyes. With the earphones in place I could feel myself inside myself, as it were. Each breath actually could be felt down there and it was as if my breathing itself was stroking my prostate and I relished that visualization and kept it up and, oh boy!, that was right on the mark. The P waves began in earnest and kept my eyes closed but not tightly. I found my legs tensing and I kept relaxing them and letting the thighs separate slightly. And kept up the gentle, but deep abdominal breathing, slowly, feeling each breath literally massage my prostate and bringing with it growing sensations of a sweet pleasure that I had only previously had with a device in. I was able )but not without a bit of effort( to keep myself from grimacing from the pleasure. This 'struggle' actually seemed to contribute to the pleasure—I guess in part it was the 'naughtiness' of the moment, of being in public, of being up here and having a most wonderful time in the most intimate way without anyone else noticing. At the same time, I did have some concerns that the session could end in an embarrassing, well, happy ending )though I have never ejaculated during a session, this was new territory and who knew?(. I had at least three definite crescendos and plateaus of pleasure that were orgasmal with the rhythmic pulsing of the prostate and surrounding tissues. Additional P waves occurred and I was having the most intense A-less experience 'of my life'! The pleasure during the peaks was comparable to having a device in, no question of that. But no uncontrollable shaking or moaning )those are not a regular occurrence for me anyway(.
All this happened in the course of only 30 minutes or so of the flight. At this point, I had to make a decision: with only an hour and 15 minutes to go in the flight, do I just take it on home till landing? Or, do I stop here and write all this down and trust my memory to recreate the details? Knowing my memory, I opted for the first choice. The decision was made easier when my seatmate decided to get up himself. So I used the opportunity to use the bathroom one last time )always a smart choice for this older guy(. So, I stopped and began to write this. All the time I am writing this, I am feeling faint little tickles that I am pretty sure I'll be able to focus on and reawaken. Let's see…closing my eyes, stopping the Brahms on the earphones, and…yes, there's the tickle, and I can intensify it a bit and even a few minutes later when I turn my attention to it, it's there for me to 'work with it if I want'. This is simply wonderful to me… who needs the movies and stuff if I have this to keep me happy on a flight. And of course there's that fantastic feeling of elation and satisfaction that we have after a session. None of the letdown…
I am keeping myself from analyzing why and how it worked )though the urge to is very strong with me, as usual. But I don't want to spoil this by trying to figure it out(. I am hooked, and I'm looking forward to my next flight )it turns out that it'll be tomorrow—but only a 40 min jump to Cyprus. Let's see if I can make it happen, or at least get it going(. Maybe, I've arrived at this destination )A-less pleasure(. Another milestone..

Having troubles with Helix Syn stopping moving when prostate is excited

Hi guys,

I am pretty new and got myself a Helix Syn about a month ago. I was getting some results with standing position with my hands on the sink and had a prostate orgasm and really strong contractions going with very pleasurable waves washing over me.

But during last 3 sessions when I get excited and expect the contractions to really start going, either my sphincter muscles start clenching or my prostate enlarges and Helix stops moving around. I can forcefully relax my sphincter, but still I need to make an effort to move the massager around, as it stops doing so by itself. 🙁

Did anyone encounter similar difficulties? I apply quite a bit of lube and it sort of slides freely back and forth at the beginning, but still gets stuck when I really get it going.

I tried both massaging the Aneros over my prostate with slow movements and simply standing relaxed and waiting for the contractions to start by themselves, but both times the result was that there's suddenly a lot less space inside the sphincter and it just isn't massaging prostate anymore.

Would you guys recommend to keep working on my muscle control or change my position instead? I was unable to get anything going past some tingling or pleasurable pressure when lying in bed (tried doggy and lying on my back, where it felt like Aneros wasn't touching prostate at all and nothing happened for 15 minutes or so, and tried lying on the side, where I could easily feel Aneros touching my prostate and the pleasurable feeling was building up slowly, but Aneros simply wasn't moving and I couldn't translate beyond occasional involuntary muscle clenching).

Further Steps

Since the last writing, I've used my Aneros three more times. Each time, I learn something new, and occasionally I learn things through other activity not involving the Aneros.

My second ride was nowhere near as powerful an experience as my first. Frankly, my first ride has yet to be surpassed in terms of intensity and general pleasure. )Which is fine. I'm glad to have had it nonetheless.( In this second session I learned this, that not all sessions will be mind-splosions, but also the very beginnings of sensations inside my ass. Some crept in towards the end of my first session, but in the second, I was more able to pay attention to them, identify them, greet them. They didn't stay. That is also fine.

My second ride was pleasing in a fairly minimalist way, and left me wanting more. I had an urge for sex, which I put aside, but when it crept up persistently for minutes at a time I called my SO in to the room for intercourse. She obliged happily, and I learned what sex with an Aneros device inside feels like. It was interesting, and pleasing, and also somewhat obstructive. Not my favorite experience, but might be good for occasional implementation.

A-less Energy Moving with Chuckjo2000

This is the transcription of the amazing session some of us chatters had with Chuckjo2000 on the weekend of Feb 7-8,2015. Chuck asked that someone get the "word" to the other Aneros users and that those who have benefited from his mentoring should "pass it on".

For now, this is my contribution. It's an edited transcript, mostly in Chuck's words. This transcript has been given to Chuck for corrections and if there are any, I'll update them here. I am planning to put the same transcript on the forum as a new discussion thread.

Here goes:
Please give me feedback on your experience with this amazing exercises:

Fellow Anerosers and members of the community:

Many of the Aneros community have had the good fortune to get to know Chuckjo2000 and his special knowledge and abilities to train users )and non-users( in managing our own internal energies for our benefit and pleasure. Of course, he cannot reach everyone in a simple way and there are many of you who have wanted to benefit from his amazing talents. Chuckjo2000 has asked of those who recently benefited from his exercises to "spread the word" about his unique techniques for distributing energy around your body and it results in some of the most powerful experiences you may have, Aneros less.

The following transcript is from two separate sessions that Chuckjo2000 shared with chatters on the 7th and 8th of February 2015.
