How to progress from involuntaries

Hi there, I’ve been new to this game and over the last 6 months on and off I’ve attempted possibly 10sessions since I first purchased the helix trident syn.

I’ve attempted and tried a number of the tips that are commonly posted here and have made some progress strengthening the PC muscles etc. The stage I am currently at is that I can (without much effort) cause what I believe to be extended periods of involuntary contractions. These involuntary contractions usually lead to periods where I feel very aroused but that is all. If I focus on these involuntaries sometimes (with my eyes closed and focusing on my breathing) I can cause myself to start spinning but not in a dizzying way. These two results of involuntary contractions are the only progress I have made. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, what sensations I should be focusing on to try and achieve p-waves.

I’ve also considered the toy isn’t working for me. When I have tried or my girlfriend has used a finger inside me it has felt like my prostate was actually being stimulated and besides being a nice feeling using the toy and having the involuntary contractions I don’t feel it actually stimulate my prostate or any sort of build up of pleasurable feelings in that area. Where exactly should the pleasure or p-waves originate so I understand where to focus and cultivate them?

Any help anyone can give would be most appreciated.

My concept of orgasm got turned upside down.
I’ve made a few posts in this forum but they’re not a good summation of my Aneros journey so I’ll try to sum it all up here and I’ll start with this morning..
Wake up at 0350 with not much sleep and a 60+ hour work week just finished feeling a bit wrecked from it all. Now I want to byy my first aneros, I’ve decided for the trident version instead of the syn one, but I’m still evaluating if mgx trident would be better than helix, since I read that mgx allows more movement the thelix. On the other hand, I’ve also read that mgx trident may be too short, and as a tall guy I fear that it wouldn’t fit well myself. What are your suggestions?

Aless Guidance

So I have gained some experience with the Aneros Helix Syn. I am able to have small pleasurable p-waves.

Unfortunately, I am unhealthy and my blood circulation is very bad. Working on it to get better (stopped smoking, doing cardio). However, when using the Aneros nowadays, my prostate goes numb after a few minutes.

So in order to still have sessions, I am switching to Aless for the moment. I did not find very useful tips yet. Has anybody got experience with Aless and can please help me?

Finally making some progress

I have been thinking of posting here for a while. This is going to be a rambling post so TL;DR

I bought a Helix Syn in September of 2019 after seeing Aneros orgasm videos on the web for years. Decided to finally try it for myself. Used the Syn about twice a week for around one month and got bored with it and stopped. I found that it felt okay but after squeezing my PC muscles for about 10 or 15 minutes I would either doze off or decide to watch gay porn. The Syn did seem to enhance my penile orgasms but not so much that I felt like putting it in just for the enhanced penile orgasms. BTW I have a major, major addiction to gay porn. Or had. My muscles just started spasming on their own and I had this curious, very pleasurable tingling sensation from around my prostate. It only lasted maybe 5 to 10 seconds but I guess I got hooked. Mind you my Syn was in my dresser drawer, not even in my butt. Decided to start using the Syn again the next night. I’ve been trying to figure it out like a puzzle how to get those same sensations again and I am making real progress. Last night I went for about an hour and ½ and had the involuntary contractions + feelings of impending orgasm and that happened four or five times. With practicing deep breathing and kegels I feel that a progasm is within my grasp. Weirdly (again) about two weeks ago I suddenly lost interest in porn. Not altogether but it is much easier to just shrug it off and not watch any. Something does sort of concern me though. Around the time my interest in porn fell off, it seemed like maybe my libido fell off too. When I try to have penile orgasms now, they aren’t very satisfying almost like I’m not even climaxing. Also, it feels like there is a sort of congested feeling in my prostate.

My first P-waves!

So for context: I’ve lurked a while but decided to make my first post after my first major breakthrough. I owned the helix trident until I lost it on a trip recently like a fool. I never had a great experience with it. Minor sensations, comfort, but nothing crazy. This is entirely due to user error and a poor fit regarding what I need.

Which brings us to Monday. I ordered a progasm and peridise to replace my lost model and was excited to try them out. I warmed up with the peridise by using it manually (just rubbing it on the prostate, not the right way to use it but sue me). This was the first thing that really helped me level up, I wanted a better warm up and I got one. It was easy and felt great.

Then came the progasm. I opted for a YouTube link that hotel guy used for binaural beats, slipped it in, and tried to clear my mind. My plan is usually to do nothing for a while, then start manually operating it with my pc muscles if I feel like it. The do nothing portion was not like my helix sessions at all! Usually, my butt clenches involuntarily and randomly at the beginning of the session. The progasm was so snug that I had more control over what happened, thus no involuntary squeezes. I also felt less sensation at the beginning, which was weird. I felt it helpful to have this new found control because I could also squeeze with more intention.

First toy questions / recommendations

So most of the recommendations seem to vary but I think I’m going to go for helix trident as it’s more of an all around/beginner type from what I can understand.

Is the only difference between the white vs syn the material used? I’m looking for something that requires less maintenance, especially drying before storage which makes me lean towards the white version rather than the syn.

Also open to other recommendations from past experience. I have an njoy wand and want something else to compliment that as sometimes I don’t want to focus on actually moving the device and want something a bit more passive.

Also while i have a thread open, does anyone have experience with prostate play on multiple consecutive days? Does going back to back days make the second day any less pleasurable or more uncomfortable if you’re sore? Are daily breaks recommended ?

Interesting Sensations

So I’ve been on this aneros train on and off for about 6 years now, but only really in the last year have I given proper thought and effort to exploring this. I own two aneros products — the helix syn and the progasm.

After reading through various posts, it appeared to me that doing kegels were important, but mindfulness was more so than anything else. So yesterday, I tried something slightly different — I came into my session as relaxed as possible, and adopting a “curious” mindset to anything I felt during the session rather than trying to force anything. I started off by inserting the helix and scrolling Reddit for about 10 minutes to just get used to it in me. Then, I lay down with my knees up, feet flat on the bed and listened to some calming music/binaural beats.

In past sessions, because I’ve seen videos of guys basically flopping around on the bed, I thought that I had to try and imitate that kind of movement and deliberately squeezed/moved to try and emphasise that. Well, that would give me some feelings but it would often exhaust me and feel discouraged at the end of the session. Tonight’s session on the other hand, I really just focused on relaxing as much as possible and letting my body move when it wanted to. I focused on my breathing (5 seconds in, 5 seconds out) and tried to leave my body as relaxed as possible.
