I think Aneros is just not compatible with my anatomy…

So I started off with a Helix Syn as my first Aneros and hated it with passion. No matter what I did all it resulted in was a sharp pain.

So I moved on to a progasm. I figured since I enjoy plug and dildos I would have a better time with it due to its size. And I was right, as soon as I put it in it was as comfortable as could be. But I have run into another issue.

I just dont think my anatomy is compatible with Aneros toys. While the progasm is comfortable to the point where it will feel like its not even there at all lies the issues. It feels kinda nice when initially sliding it in but after its in I have ZERO sensations at all. To the point where if im sitting there not touching myself I will eventually go soft and thats it, and nothing will happen and eventually the lube starts drying and removal becomes uncomfortable.

So i decided to try willing it around. Nothing. However I did finally find something. I have to pull the toy out by 1/3rd or so and push firmly forward with the tip of it. I found a spot that I can only assume is my prostate. Grinding against that spot gives the slight sensation of needing to urinate in the tip of my member. Continuously working this spot just ends up with drops of semen leaking out but no real sensation other than the urination feeling. I would have kept going longer but I again run into the lube drying and not long after that really cramped hands/wrists. Letting it go and naturally settle into place leaves me again with the no sensations at all. I think it just pulls into me too deep.

have you ever tried to imagine being a woman?

i am not saying it will work for you but if you are anything like me then it will work wonders.

get comfortable and give it a try. it took me some time but now i have no trouble with it as i know what i'm trying to achieve. i just imagine being a passive woman having sex or doing any thing that doesn't bother me or turn me off, just anything that i wouldn't mind doing. i would like to know if that works for anyone, particularly straight guys that never wanted to have sex with a man and do not take pleasure from anal penetration.

Acid Reflux/Heartburn after Using the Prograsm

I'm a total noob to the Aneros and have started with the Progasm. Each time I've used it, after half an hour or so I start to get acid reflux and abdominal discomfort. I've tried searching other forums to see if anyone else has experienced this sort of thing but haven't found anything. Was wondering if anyone here has. If so what advice do you have? As far as I know, I'm using the Aneros correctly, lying on my side with my knees up. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening. I've had four sessions and each time it has happened without fail. Any feedback is welcome.

Anerosing highs and lows

First couple times I used my progasm I could feel my body shaking and then about a week later I did not have the shakes but I could feel the energy in my spine several times but it never moved. Fast forward another week till today and there are times I get those shakes and times I don't I feel like a couple sessions were duds. I know I'm still at a noob status only doing it for a couple weeks but sometimes I feel like I lost the new ness of the ride. Maybe I have my expectations too high? Maybe I should get another model? Maybe I should try it for a couple more weeks? I have been doing the do nothing approach so far. I'm not new to anal play but I am new to the Aneros. I've been using the helix syn for a few months now, but tonight was the first time I used the 'do nothing' approach. After a while I felt my muscles clench and the syn was pulled in. Ridiculously high heart rate + other questions…

I've had my Helix Syn for about a year now but only just now started to use it regularly. I'm progressing pretty quickly and feel like I'm getting in tune with the subtleties, sensations and how to react to them. I feel like I can just get to below the crest and no further so I will keep trying and listening to my body more. But I have a few questions:

-When I begin to feel waves and respond to them my heart begins to pound harder and faster than it ever has in my life. I've never experienced such intense heart pounding, in fact it's a little bit distracting during the session. I haven't seen much about this here but wanted to see if it happens to others or if it might go away as I get more used to it.

-Tips to maintain focus during the waves? I try hard to keep my mind clear and focus on my body during the waves and build ups but frequently random unrelated thoughts pop into my head and throw me off. Any tips to avoiding this? I smoke weed before the session which seems to help me go to 'another world' during my sessions.

-I don't feel the P-tab much. I've found that using my finger to put pressure on the perineum has helped a ton and increases the force that the Aneros puts on the prostate. I can feel the contractions very easily here, and try to respond to them but I wasn't sure if this is a best practice. Could this mean that I might need to upgrade to a progasm? I like the stronger force much more but would love to keep my hands away from the area.

Best way to keep warm without getting in the way?

Hi all, I am a newbie, have tried a few sessions, no result yet. The situation is my place is old and cold and cranking the heat up doesn't help. I usually wear 2 layers or more. For porn watching it's fine as I am aroused and all but the aneros asks for relaxing, and when I lie there for many minutes without pants, it gets cold and I get distracted. Can I be fully clothed? Use blanket? Will that obstruct the movement? What do you guys usually wear?

Experiments with coconut oil

After my last post I started to experiment with coconut butter but I didn’t like it very much and soon returned to water based lube. I may try coconut oil again in the future. This tip from anerothon was helpful. I can recommend to prepare some scoops in the fridge or freezer. Keeps the fingers from getting too sticky. Using the freezer may be too cold, be careful!

No progress

Since my last post I tried multiple sources for audio stimulation. I tried some moaning from /r/gonewildaudio because I like to hear moaning (even though I don’t really moan myself).
