One step forwards, two steps back? [Question]

Ive been using my aneros helix syn for around a month now, maybe more, and have had a few sessions when I can. My first couple sessions I feel like were the best. I never got to the part where my body started trembling or anything or any mind blowing sensations, I did however feel what I guess you could call mini-orgasms originating from my prostate. Ive had these a couple times but have never had anything better than them. Lately I seem not to be getting any of them at all though anymore. I have also been told to just lay back and do nothing, this quite literally does nothing for me however and I can only seem to have these mini orgasms when I do strong contractions and try and bring the aneros further in and push it harder against my prostate. I feel like I have no idea what to actually do now with so many people saying to do this or that, so im coming here as a last ditch effort.

Any tips on how I can move forward and make progress? Im all ears to anything, and I know I will have loads of free time coming up so I have time to prepare.

Aneros didn’t work

I just got one and tried it. I think I was pretty relaxed and had it inserted for about two hours while contracting and releasing but didn’t feel anything. In fact it actively made me lose my erection as it wasn’t exactly a feeling I was used to. Is there something I did wrong?

Prostate Orgasms are Real

It seems like there was a lower level of orgasm that is centered on the prostate, and that feels good and all and is worthwhile in itself. Insertion depth of Aneros

Been using the helix trident for about a month. Get some decent feelings and learning a lot. However it sticks out an inch when inserted. Even when I clench it only pulls it in a little more. I understand we are all slightly different and my personal anatomy plays a factor.
But how deep should I expect the helix trident to stick out in a relaxed or clenched state?
I have read on the forums (when they were working) some guys need a bigger unit. I went with the Helix due to it be recommended beginner model. I like it but want to be sure it is the right one for me. The MGX looks nice but is only .08 inches longer. The Progasm is .68 inches longer but also much bigger throughout, which is slightly concerning. I’m sure it is easily worked up to though.

Using Aneros While Sleeping, Triggering Out of Body Experience

After 2 hours of sleep, I woke up in the middle of the night. I prepped up, put the aneros in. Playing erotic audio and doing one hour session. After that I just went sleep with aneros on.

After a few moments, maybe between sleep, the prostate zing, and suddenly triggering out of body experience. Only lasted for a few seconds while I also half unconscious. After that I dozed off to sleep and dreams.

I will try this again and see what might happens.

Do nothing or do light contractions?

Been using the helix syn a few times now with little progress, and it seems the more I ask the more confused I get. People have told me to do light contractions about halfway and hold, though I will do that for 20 minutes and barely feel anything. Others tell me to simply do nothing and let the aneros work its magic, though I’m not sure if that can happen if I do nothing right from the start, and as far as I know the only involuntary contractions I have had only lasted for a few seconds when I started to feel a sort of tingling feeling coming from my prostate (whatever you want to call that). It then subsides and nothing happens. I also noticed if I push the aneros closer towards my stomach when I breath in I get a sort of warm fulling feeling in my stomach, but it’s only very minor and brief because I have to hold my breath and concentrate hard for that to happen. I think I might try the do nothing approach from the start, I just need some relaxing audio or something perhaps. Can anyone give me some tips for someone who is confused as to what I should be doing to make progress?

Prostate seeming to turn off rather than on?

So I’ve been exploring prostate simulation for around 3 years, initially just with my fingers. I had some really good sessions along the way (strong p-waves and what felt like dry prostate orgasms), but I didn’t do it very often. Last year I decided to be more consistent with it and so I started doing it on average once a week instead of once a month-ish.

Pretty soon my prostate was “waking up.” Not every session was successful, but after a while I could distinctly feel prostate arousal (i.e. tingling in my taint, arousal in my rectum, prostate just craving to be touched, and even light to moderate p-waves that I could bring about just by thinking about rubbing it). Sounds like great progress, right?

However, the frustrating thing is these sensations almost always happened during the day, when I was busy and couldn’t do anything about them. Sure, they were very pleasurable, but I began to associate the sensations with “now’s not the time” and mentally trying to push them away so I could focus on work, etc.

Unfortunately, I think this began to affect my actual sessions, meaning once I had time to play, my prostate would be totally dormant and unaffected by stimulation, even if earlier in the day I had been strongly craving it.
