New experiences—some positive, others perplexing

In my first entry I mentioned I might try combining my pleasurable day-after effects with traditional masturbation. I did, and the result was one of the strongest orgasms and ejaculation I've had in recent memory; it was quite enjoyable.

That was last night. Early this morning I woke up to involuntary spasms and arousal sensations, as though I were having an Aneros session—but I wasn't! The convulsions literally woke me up. Unfortunately, I was still tired and wasn't in the mood to go for a spin. But there was no stopping the movements and sensations. Frustrated, I got out of bed and started my day—tired, but at least consciously able to suspend what would otherwise have been a pleasurable experience.

It wasn't long before my tiredness caught up with me, and I decided to take a nap. I slept for maybe an hour, and awoke again to the same orgasmic teasing and uncontrollable body movements. This time I was a little less tired, and kind of enjoying the experience, and since I couldn't seem to stop it anyway I gave in to getting the Helix and going for a full session. I practiced some deep breathing, trying to calm my body as much as possible. I focused on bringing the pleasurable sensations into every part of my body, filling me up. By concentrating on keeping my body completely relaxed, I think this helped spur the involuntaries as the only remaining avenue of release for the mounting erotic tension; I don't think I induced any voluntary contractions at all.

Getting back into the swing of things

I should preface this, with a little bit of history. I got the helix about 8 months and while I had some strong intial success I felt as though I was forcing things a little and not reaching the true potential of the helix.

I had enjoyed some great mini-O's but I didn't enjoy the way I got to them. So I began experimenting and trying unsuccessfully to find a more enjoyable method. I tried a few sessions that didn't really go anywhere and I essentially gave up on it, although I continued to use it as a masturbatory aid. Hence, my lack of posting for awhile.

Well recently I decided to try again and tried putting more effort into it. Recently I have been practicing my kegels and carefully finding the optimal position (hands and knees) when using the helix. Needless to say I think I found a winning method, hence my posting, hehe.

Well, last night was the proof and the funny thing is I wasn't even sure I should try. I had a midterm the next day and wanted to get up early to study longer for it and it was already 10:30pm. My libido won out and I rationalized that I deserved it because I had studied a lot for this one and I hadn't j/o in 2 days (a rather long time for a 21 y/o).

Super-O?

I think I reached a Super-O, eight months after first getting into the Aneros. This was in a session Thursday night that capped off a very horny week for me.

I started off with the MGX and only a few squirts of ID Glide lube. With this session, I just wanted to guide the Aneros to a "sweet spot" and let it sit there. Boy did I ever do that! About 15-20 minutes into the session, following some wonderful p-waves, I jiggered the MGX so it was nudging the prostate. This produced a fantastic "wave" sensation emanating through my midsection. I was in a semi-sleepy state, totally relaxed. Instead of doing contractions, I just let my body lie there like a wet noodle. The only movement was very gently stroking the base of my hard penis to stimulate the "holding off a pee" muscle. Then something fantastic happened – the pleasure got deeper and deeper. I went from fantasizing to vaguely thinking "oh my god" as my heartbeat and breathing got more pronounced. The feelings got to a consistent intensity, very much unlike anything I've ever had before. Although there was a little bit of fear in the back of my mind, I was able to hold this super-o (at least I hope it was the super-o!!) for about five minutes.

My first time with the progasm

I searched high and low for some specific information (see “virgin anus vs. progasm: the duel”) on this but was unable to find exactly what I was looking for so here it is: My first encounter with the Progasm.

As an almost 6 month user and the owner of a Peridise beginners set and a Helix I was looking for a new toy. Being a rectal novice prior to my Aneros experience I was a little intimidated by the size of the Progasm – but I needed to expand my horizons so I took the chance. However, I was really looking for a detailed description of a first time successful Progasm insertion.

Mentally, I had to overcome my fear of tearing the soft tissues. After six months, am I qualified as an “Advanced User”? Or will it victimize me?

Don’t worry, everything’s OK. Here’s what I did – maybe it can help someone else down the road.

I had everything I needed and a three hour window so I began the session with the Helix. The Helix is easy stuff for me, lube the hole with Shea Butter, insert two small balls of Shea Butter and it slides right in. Great, 45 minutes of relaxed breathing.

Two weeks without the Aneros

For the first time since buying the Aneros 5 ½ months ago I have gone for two weeks without using it. That’s what visiting the in-laws over the holidays can do to a person. I did use the Peridise once, but it was not a solo session and it will have to be a separate entry!

The fun thing was that I got to do a lot of Anerosless exercises – something I haven’t gotten a chance to do before. Kind of Male Deer external massaging, contractions and deep rhythmic breathing. Chasing pleasure echo’s as it were.

It’s funny, because you can wake the little walnut up in the morning and he wants to play all day. I can make it feel really good but I can only produce very intermittent involuntaries. Still, it gives you something to do between holiday meals while you’re watching football and making pleasant conversation with Aunt so and so.

Ordered myself a Progasm. I’ll bet that’ll be worth a blog entry by the end of next week. I had to make a decision between that and the MGX. I like the description of mobility and aggressive P-Tab for the MGX (I don’t consider the Helix tab to be all that aggressive). I had to go with the K-Tab and the ball style P-Tab in the end. I’m just not quite sure I will appreciate the size of the Progasm. Ah, the sweet sensation of fear and anticipation. We will have to see if I am qualified as an “Advanced User” yet or not. You can only read so much before you have to take action one way or the other.

Week 3: Starting to feel like it isn't working out for me

Another week has passed with little or no progress for me. I used to practice for an hour every day, but over this recent week I've been skipping a few days. I think I am losing motivation to keep this up. I used to be very interested in having the daily sessions, but now I'm starting to feel more motivated to do other more useful things with my time than use the helix.

I wish I could come here and say, "Wow! The Aneros is great! My pleasure is so much better and it's changed my life!" like some people have, but I simply can't at this point. Over the week I've tried a variety of different suggestions from the forum, blogs, etc. Different positions, different breathing tricks, different forms of stimulating myself, different forms of mental stimulation. I've also tried the 'do nothing' approach, but in doing nothing, I also feel nothing. I just can't seem to find my way though all of this regardless of what I try.

Maybe I just need more time. My body may be more resistant to alternative stimulations than I hoped. I'd like to think this is exactly the case, but how can I tell when I need time when I can't tell if I'm doing it right in the first place? It's hard to know if I'm on the right tracked when I am blind to my progress.

Relax…

So my current approach during sessions is to relax and do mostly nothing. Sort of meditative and focus on deep breathing. But I do a twist on it. I get bored quickly doing nothing. So what I do is concentrate on relaxing all of the muscles in my anus. This gives my mind something to do. And really helps to bring on the pleasure with little to no exertion.

This method really makes it clear to me how consciously taking control of the action generally reduces pleasure. Plus I like the idea and practice of not working, or exerting so hard to feel pleasure. It feels nice to just relax and allow the pleasure to come to you.

I haven't reproduced the super-O yet. But hope this approach will bring me closer.

Entering week 2: still not feeling it just yet

Nearly a week has passed since my first post here. I have been having daily sessions, one at hour each. Most of these sessions have been at night (around 10 pm to as late as midnight) while a pair have been earlier in the day. My overall level of progress is very little. I'm beginning to realize that it may take much longer than I expected to experience even the smallest of benefits from the massager.

Words on mentality:
In time, it started to become easier to drop my expectations and goals. My current goal is relatively simple: feel anything other than my muscles on the massager. I've also learned not to be as frustrated with my lack of any positive sensations. This required somewhat of an attitude change, thinking of the daily sessions as 'a possible chance to progress' rather than 'it BETTER work this time.'

I've also learned to avoid the aneros site forums. Reading it for too long only makes me frustrated and a little upset. I must stress that my reasoning is not because I think badly of anyone there. The forum is filled with a torrent of success stories (or decent progress stories) that are discouraging to someone like me, who has not made that same progress. I do apologize, but I guess I can be a highly jealous person at times. As long as I stay out of there, my mind is clearer and a little more patient as I practice.

First two attempts – no results

Introduction to my situation:

Several months ago while studying the physiology of orgasms for both males and females, I came upon the concept of men's prostate orgasms. Of course, Aneros was suggested by one or two web sites. Since my standard penis-based masturbation is rather lacking in pleasure (it feels a little nice on the second half of a session, but typically nothing really phenomenal overall), I decided that I would give prostate-based pleasuring a try in hopes that it would have better results. First time
The results of the first session were minimal, or perhaps even nonexistent. It left me feeling a little depressed, worried, and very disappointed. I had well read that it often takes a lot of time; that there is learning to be done and so forth. I can tell that I approached the situation the wrong way, but I'm surprised that I felt nothing positive, as if I might as well have stuck anything up there.
