Have now tried Helix and Progasm

Well I have now had the chance to try out my new models. The Helix, and the Progasm. Let me begin by saying I have only had minimal success with any model. The very first time I tried the SGX I got a nice tingling in my anus and a kind of light kissing response from my anus, but was never able to repeat that. I have read so much about aneros taking over and doing its own thing to massage the prostate, but never really understood what that was like.

Last session I cleaned up used marksman lube as an interal lube and then lubed the Helix with ID Millenium (found it to stay slipprier longer, even if it takes more to clean it up) I inserted Helix and relaxed. I started slow clenching of the anal muscles and found that there were more muscles I was using, I guess they are called the PC muscles, the ones by the Perineum. It took about 15 or 20 minuets but then I began to feel a kind of pulsing in my penis, not my anus or the PC muscles but in my penis like it was bobbing on my body. I have to admit I wanted to get back to the body shutters I had experienced the very first time I used the SGX, (nothing since)so I concentrated very hard on what I was doing. The pulsing in my penis began to grow very slowly, and I could start to feel something, what I was not sure in the area of my prostate. It was vague and undefined. After about 40 minutes I decieded I was not free enough so I put a pillow under my bent leg (legs were in position as noted in the instructions). It began to feel much more comfortable, and I could feel myself relaxing even more than I had been. I felt a quiver in my body much like I had the first time I used the SGX, not as strong, or as long lasting but definately there.

I've had a mini – O

I bought my helix some time ago and had very little success in my first several attempts. It sat unused for several months. Last night I got it out, cleaned out my rectal canal really well and spent time just relaxing with it in place. I lay on my side for a while, did the recommended deep breathing and got comfortable with the helix in place. I delayed contractions for a while too. Still not much happened in the way of sensation.

I then rolled onto my back and put my feet flat on the bed. I contracted the scphincter a few times and then lay still. Quietly, waves of delightful sensation started to build. I held perfectly still for fear that movement might break the spell that was coming over me. I don't think it actually lasted that long and it wasn't a body wracking experience but it was like nothing I've ever experienced before. As the sensations subsided I contracted a few times but the whole experienced passed.

Nevertheless, I take it as a first success. If I can duplicate and intensify that sensation over time, I'll be very satisfied. I feel like I've crossed into a new frontier of sensation that I've never experienced before, in many ways similar to the first orgasm I had in my early teens.

I'll keep this forum posted.

Maybe too early to ask

I know this is my second kind of entry, and I do thank the fellas who have sent comments from my first. I am still being taught patience because the mails have not yet gotten my "starter kit" (a SGX and a MGX in one package)but I thought I would try to learn some of the breathing and exercise techniques. But after reading more I am a little confused. Again not having my aneros to work with yet makes a difference, but with anal contractions and sphincter contractions the same or different. Having read a few more items it would seem one is a closing of the sphincter(like trying to retain), the other a pushing (like to expell) action. Are both of these to be included in the excercises? I know once I have my own aneros, it might become clear to me, but I still must wait for that.

I intend to start with the SGX since it was stated it was originally desinged for men under 5'6" (my height) and for those not use to any kind of anal insersion. Since the MGX is included with my "kit" I guess I figured I could work up from there.

Any help you have, or discussion that has already been presented, and you can point me to it, would be greatly apprieciated.

Fourth Session: Drifting Orgasm

(from the "My First Super-O" thread)

I had written previously about my very first experience, which, subjectively, was a revelation. More than anything else, that session taught me to become more aware of my body and my mind. From that experience and the subsequent three others, it became evident that the mental aspect was a crucial factor in achieving positive results. Distractions, internal and external, acted like brakes on the process. Being tired, being not all that enthused (lack of arousal), being impatient—these all dampened the experience.

Now comes my fourth session. I decided to change my position—from my side to my back—and though I immediately noticed a lack of sensation in this position, as opposed to the “tightness” I experienced on my side, I was determined to give this new angle a shot.

Reflections on My First Session

Reposted from the forum…

First of all, thank you for the kind encouragement and comments. From what I have read on this forum so far it is apparent that the members who post here are extremely supportive. On this journey, which in and of itself is ultimately a personal and solitary endeavor, having others to share experiences and insights with is vital.

I may take up the offer of starting a blog of my progress. I think it would be of general and personal interest.

As a brief follow up to today’s session, I wanted to touch on a few things. The most immediate is the “state” I find myself inhabiting. By “state” I mean my current emotional/psychological condition. I find it extraordinary that the feelings of well-being continue to persist. Throughout the day, I have reflected not a few times on how good I feel. I have been under the heavy cloud of depression for most of my adult life. I have taken medication for it. I have practiced meditation. I have experienced contentment and quiet joy at various times through medication and meditation. What I experienced today was very much like those occurrences. The major difference is that I haven’t been on medication in over four years or meditated for even longer.

Who could imagine a supposed medical/sexual device as an instrument of mental well-being? Though it’s early yet in my exploration, this first experience bodes well for this kind of application.

Experience, The First

I'm jump starting this blog by reposting my forum entries…

I recently bought a Helix after considerable reading here and on the web. Today, with the house to myself (a rare occasion), I thought I’d give it a try. Going into the session, I had in the back of my mind all the positive experiences I’ve read about. The negative ones were there as well. I though of them as guideposts along a middle path—one I would endeavor to travel with an open mind. I wanted this to be my own experience, not set against the expectations, hopes, and dreams (achieved or not) of those who went before me. There would, of course, be similarities in my experience, since the journey covers familiar terrain, and we are all human.

Guideposts. Markers along the way. With those acknowledged, I began…

I’ll not detail the usual prep and position—just that I lubed sufficiently, lay on my right side, right leg straight, left bent at the knee. I lay with the Helix within me for around 10 minutes. It did not feel uncomfortable—merely a sense of pressure (or fullness).

I began some gentle contractions of the sphincter. I felt pressure and then slightly more pressure. My penis moved with each contraction but did not become erect. At this point in the session, perhaps 15 – 20 minutes after insertion, I would categorize my experience as being minimal.

Parting words

Do to the number of requests I’ve received I’ve decided to leave this forum, so here are my parting thoughts.

The Aneros is a toy.
Yes some of you use it for prostate health, but the main focus of this forum is using it for pleasure, which makes it a sex toy.

The Aneros is not the Holy Grail of prostate massagers. I know this is an Aneros Forum, but its still sickening to listen to people almost worshiping it. Stop making your posts sound like your making a paid infomercial.

All models are not the same; out of the box the Progasm is the only Aneros product that worked for me. Modified I also like the Helix. So if yours isn’t working for you after 3 months max. Try something else and yes some other brands work just as well.

If you haven’t achieved a super O within 12 months, something is wrong. Either there is something wrong with you or you need to find a different path.

I really liked Darwin’s idea about the Aneros men’s club, but it missed the mark. It should be the men’s sexual awareness clinic where guys can help other guys achieve their sexual potential and would include using the Aneros. I have helped a friend achieve the super O and it was almost as exciting for me as it was for him. Someone else has recently asked me to help him reach the super O, so who knows, I hope mentoring will catch on.

Well I think I can say I am on my way. Purchased the aneros (maximus) in February 07. The first few sessions were successful. Good feelings, some precum and more volume when jacking off. Then came a long dry spell with mostly dud sessions. In the last month things began to slowly improve with a better effort at lubrication and breathing technique.

I am married and have to be circumspect with the aneros. I showed the site to my wife but she is not interested. She has been away lately so I had more time to use the aneros in a relaxed situation.

The last four sessions have been wonderful. On 5/14 in a 1 hr 45 min session I experienced 6 2-3 minute mini O's of whole body shaking and the feeling I was on the verge of coming. Positon was on my back with a bit of cloth between the tab and me. Most of the action came within the first 45 minutes.
This was in the morning.

That afternoon I tried again with the maximus. I used plenty of lube and within 5 minutes of the start the whole body shaking O's began. plenty of moaning and groaning. Then the maximus began moving on its own for the first time. This produced about an hour of intense feelings with contractions. Best experience yet. Some precum maybe 3-4 drops. Abdominal breathing seemed to really help get the contractions going.

Hornsby's Journey

I'm starting this blog as a means of chronicling what i learn about the use of the Aneros and my own internal workings as i start to use the Helix.

I've been reading the Forum rather voraciously over the last 3 or so weeks while i've been waiting for my Helix to arrive. This is my first excursion into the use of any form of anal or prostate play. But the comments in the Forum and testimonials on the webpage were just too good to not give it a try.

As a result of some of what i've read, i've spent the last few weeks exploring the various muscle contraction types that Darwin, B Mayfield and others describe in detail. I wanted to be learn both where my sweet spot was located and also how to identify and isolate the various muscle groups involved. I'd been quite aware of my PC muscle and sphincter before – but never realised what good uses they could be put to.

So today my parcel finally arrived and i was fortunate enough to have a lengthy period of time to myself. I took B Mayfields advice and had a lengthy warm shower to relax after having cleaned out my anal passages with some warm water.

Subsequent Sessions

This is Part 2 of my catch-up posts. I bought the Helix and Eupho package in early July of 2006 so I’ll discuss what I experienced after the first few months of use. Please see my earlier post about my initial sessions.

Bought the MGX
I bought the MGX in December of 2006. I was curious whether the ribs on it would provide additional stimulation to my anus. The Helix and Eupho don’t have those ribs so they only provide minimal stimulation. I had read some posts where some users liked the ribs initially but found them to be annoying later. However, I had to see for myself since each person’s likes and dislikes are different.

When I first inserted it, I really felt it dig into my perineum and it started hurting just like when I first began with the Helix. I was surprised by this since the days of me having perineum pain with the Helix and Eupho were long gone. That being the case, I was glad that I didn’t purchase the MGX first. I can only imagine the pain that a newbie would feel having never used an Aneros before. After a while, this too subsided so it didn’t bother me anymore. Another thing I didn’t like about the MGX is that the larger tab caused it to grab the hairs on my perineum. I didn’t have that problem with the Helix and Eupho with their smaller tabs.
